The evaluation units for FBG technology support multiplexing, with a theoretical capacity of more than 50 sensors per channel. The most commonly used technology is based on a wavelength-tunable laser. This provides a wide wavelength range with full optical power. The devices are available in various designs and models, some for field applications and others for laboratory use.

For expanding analysis channels, data storage, and other features, there are several solutions available for these devices, including higher sampling rates of up to 10 kHz (1 kHz standard).

INFAP operates independently of manufacturers and also offers a service to adapt and distribute sensors from other manufacturers for use with these devices.
